Connect a motherboard/HBA SlimSAS SFF‑8654 8i port to two U.2 drives or backplane ports. Each branch provides a U.2 SFF‑8639 connector plus a 15‑pin SATA power lead to supply 12 V/5 V/3.3 V to the drive. OFC copper and multi‑layer shielding maintain 100 Ω differential impedance for reliable in‑chassis runs. This is a straight‑through cable—no protocol conversion.
