The JY728A (AP-CBL-SURE) USB to Micro-B Console Cable​ is a serial debugging adapter designed for network engineers and IT professionals. Leveraging the FTDI chipset, this cable translates standard USB signals from your PC into the 3.3V TTL logic levels required by modern Aruba AP's UART console ports. The USB-A to Micro-B connector​ ensures a secure and precise fit into the console port of supported Aruba AP models.

Ideal for firmware flashing, password recovery, and low-level configuration, the JY728A supports plug-and-play operation on Windows 8/10/11​ without the need for additional drivers (or with widely available FTDI drivers).
