Description

This DB9 male‑to‑male RS232 product is a straight‑through 9‑pin D‑sub cable for direct RS232 connections. Features white injection‑molded PVC hoods with integrated molded strain reliefs and ribbed plastic thumb screws for hand tightening. The cable contains nine individually insulated conductors with an overall aluminum‑foil plus tinned‑copper braid shield, providing reliable continuity for TX, RX, GND and standard handshake lines across common equipment such as PCs, test instruments, legacy terminals and CNC controllers. 

The molded hood option emphasizes flexible routing, low profile and economical field replacement. Image shows gold‑tone contacts for visual reference. Gold plating is available as an optional specification (specify plating type and thickness on order); standard contact finish may be nickel or gold‑tone. Standard length is 1.5 m; custom lengths are available.
