Farsince 40G QSFP+ AOC combines two QSFP+ optical transceivers with an integrated multimode fiber cable to create a simple, low‑latency link for 40GbE. The assembly uses four parallel 10.3125 Gb/s lanes at 850 nm and plugs directly into QSFP+ cages on switches, servers and storage platforms. It is supplied in fixed lengths up to 50 meters to connect top‑of‑rack to aggregation, leaf‑spine tiers, or adjacent racks without separate optics and patch cords. This model is intended for 40GBASE‑SR4 hosts and is not a 100G QSFP28 device.
The lightweight optical cable reduces bulk and eliminates EMI coupling compared with copper DACs, improving airflow and ease of routing in dense racks. Each end operates from 3.3 V with maximum power below 1.3 W and supports hot‑plug operation with a pull‑tab latch for fast service. I2C management per SFF‑8636/SFF‑8436 enables inventory and health monitoring at the host. Farsince offers project‑matched lengths, labeling and kitting to streamline deployment across data center environments.
