Farsince 400G QSFP‑DD LR4 is a hot‑pluggable optical transceiver designed for long‑reach 400‑Gigabit Ethernet on single‑mode fiber. The module converts eight electrical lanes in the QSFP‑DD host to four optical lanes using 100G PAM4 and CWDM wavelengths (1271/1291/1311/1331 nm). It presents a duplex LC/UPC interface and supports reaches up to 10 km on G.652 SMF. Typical deployments include data‑center spine/leaf interconnects, aggregation to core routers, campus distribution links and short‑haul DCI where 400G over LC patching is required.
An EML transmitter and PIN receiver architecture provides stable operation with KP4 FEC on the host, while digital diagnostics through CMIS enable real‑time monitoring for operations and maintenance. The compact QSFP‑DD form factor supports high‑density panels and hot‑swap serviceability. Interoperability with the 100G Lambda MSA 400G LR4‑10 specification and QSFP‑DD MSA ensures smooth integration across major platforms. Farsince offers OEM‑specific coding, project labeling, acceptance testing and coordinated supply to support rollout and lifecycle spares.
