Farsince 100G QSFP28 AOC integrates two QSFP28 optical transceivers with a factory‑terminated multimode fiber assembly to provide a straightforward link between QSFP28 cages on switches, servers and storage. The cable operates as four parallel 25‑Gb/s NRZ lanes to deliver 100‑Gb/s aggregate throughput in line with IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE‑SR4 and the QSFP28 MSA. It is offered in fixed lengths from 1 to 50 meters, covering typical top‑of‑rack, leaf‑spine and adjacent‑row connections without the need for separate modules and patch cords. Pull‑tab latches allow quick insertion and extraction in dense chassis.
Compared with copper DACs, the lightweight optical construction simplifies routing, reduces bundle bulk and avoids EMI coupling. Each end runs from a 3.3 V supply with total cable power under 2.5 W, supporting high‑port‑count deployments. Management and diagnostics follow SFF‑8636 for host monitoring of temperature and optical power. Farsince provides project‑matched lengths, labeling and kitting to streamline data center rollouts and network upgrades.
