Designed for rugged industrial interconnects, this SY flexible control cable pairs plain annealed stranded copper conductors with PVC insulation and bedding, then reinforces the core with a galvanised steel wire braid that offers superior mechanical protection against abrasion and impacts without compromising flexibility—ideal for dynamic runs linking fixed and mobile equipment on conveyors, assembly lines, production lines, and machine tools.

Its transparent PVC sheath allows quick visual inspection of the braid and cable condition, while a 300/500V rating and flame retardancy to IEC/EN 60332-1-2 support safer operation in busy plant environments. The cable performs from −40°C to +80°C in fixed installations and −5°C to +70°C under flexing, with recommended minimum bend radii of 4× OD (fixed) and 12.5× OD (flexed) to maintain conductor and braid integrity.

Note that the sheath is not UV resistant; if outdoor routing is unavoidable, the cable must be protected from direct sunlight with appropriate trunking or conduit.
