This adapter routes a PCI Express Gen4 x1 link from the motherboard to an M.2 M‑key socket via a shielded flexible cable. A low‑profile x1 gold‑finger card plugs into any PCIe x1/x4/x8/x16 slot, while the remote board accepts 2230/2242/2260/2280 NVMe modules and secures them with included standoffs. It’s a practical way to add an NVMe cache/log drive when other slots are blocked, or to position the SSD for better clearance and airflow in compact or GPU‑dense builds. Throughput is limited to a single PCIe lane, and is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 hosts.

Farsince engineers the assembly for stable signaling with impedance‑controlled conductors and a reinforced PCB. A right‑angle layout reduces obstruction near the slot, and the magnetic base enables tool‑free placement on steel chassis surfaces for quick installation and service. Power is delivered from the PCIe slot; no additional cables are required.
