Description
The Farsince Mini SAS SFF-8087 to 4x SATA 7-Pin Forward Breakout Cable is an internal fan-out assembly for storage architectures using an SFF-8087 host interface and multiple SATA targets. It maps four internal lanes from the Mini SAS controller-side port to four individual SATA device-side connectors.
It is typically used with SAS controllers, RAID cards, or HBAs that expose an SFF-8087 internal port and need to connect to SATA HDDs, SATA SSDs, or compatible backplane inputs. This cable is intended for forward breakout only and should not be used in reverse breakout applications.
