Description

This product is a metal waterproof connector housing designed to provide a sealed shell around standard data and AV connectors (RJ45, USB-A, USB-C, HDMI) when used with the correct internal insert and cable geometry. The product includes an anodized aluminum body, locking nut, polymer inner insert and elastomer grommet that secure the cable and create a moisture-resistant barrier. It functions as an inline or panel-entry protective plug/housing to protect connector bodies and cable exits from dust and splash exposure during field installations.

Engineered for pragmatic field use, the housing combines mechanical protection, EMI-friendly metal exterior and a replaceable sealing insert to accommodate different connector profiles. Installation is simple: pass cable through the nut and insert, terminate or mate the connector as required, then compress the grommet with the nut for sealing. Provide configurable insert sizes, finishes, IP verification guidance, and production testing to integrate the housing reliably into automotive, marine, industrial control and outdoor networking applications.
