Description

This cable integrates a two‑pair UTP data core with a red/black 18 AWG power pair in a Siamese layout under a single jacket. The data element is built to Cat5e electrical performance on two pairs (100 Ω), suitable for 10/100BASE‑TX Ethernet, serial device networking and voice/control links, typically terminated with RJ45 connectors. The adjacent 18/2 pair carries 12 VDC or 24 VDC from a centralized supply to end devices. It is designed for installations where equipment is non‑PoE, requires higher current than PoE can deliver, or where separate power distribution is preferred—such as IP cameras, intercoms, access control readers, small controllers and building automation nodes.
