Farsince 800G QSFP‑DD passive direct‑attach copper cable is a twinax assembly for linking QSFP‑DD 800G ports inside or between adjacent racks. Each end presents eight 100G PAM4 electrical lanes (800GAUI‑8) to establish an 800‑gigabit bidirectional connection between switches, routers, accelerator trays or storage nodes. It suits very short‑reach top‑of‑rack uplinks, spine‑leaf interconnects and GPU/AI cluster cabling where port density, power and cost are priorities over reach.
The passive design introduces virtually no latency and draws only minimal management power. Controlled‑impedance 30 AWG pairs, full shielding and molded strain relief deliver low insertion loss and crosstalk, while a 69 mm minimum bend radius eases routing in dense racks. Hot‑pluggable QSFP‑DD latches enable quick service. The assembly is interoperable with QSFP‑DD MSA mechanics, CMIS Rev 4.0 management and IEEE 802.3ck electrical specifications. Farsince offers vendor coding for major platforms, alternative lengths and labeling, with batch test reports for consistent large‑scale deployment.
