Farsince 800G OSFP Active Electrical Cable is a twinax assembly with retimer/equalization at both ends and finned‑top OSFP modules for improved thermal handling in high‑power ports. Each side presents a hot‑pluggable OSFP interface carrying the 800GAUI‑8 electrical map over eight PAM4 lanes (≈100G per lane). It is intended for short‑reach 800G Ethernet inside data halls—spine/leaf switch links, switch‑to‑NIC connections, and dense AI/HPC nodes—where consistent latency and fast installation are priorities.
The AEC design preserves signal integrity beyond passive copper limits while maintaining copper‑class latency. A robust braided sleeve protects the 32AWG shielded pairs and supports tidy routing with a 36.5 mm minimum bend radius. The assembly is interoperable with OSFP MSA mechanics and CMIS management, and aligns with IEEE 802.3ck electrical specifications. Hot‑plug pull tabs simplify field work. Farsince provides platform coding, custom lengths and labeling, plus lot‑level test reports to support repeatable deployment across large installations.
