Description

Farsince 40G QSFP+ to 4×SFP+ AOC integrates a QSFP+ SR4 transceiver and four SFP+ SR optical ends with a fixed multimode fiber harness. The assembly delivers four parallel 10.3125 Gb/s lanes at 850 nm from a single QSFP+ cage to four independent 10G SFP+ ports on switches, servers or storage. Designed for short‑reach 40G to 4×10G Ethernet breakouts, it is supplied in standard lengths from 1 to 50 meters to cover top‑of‑rack fan‑outs, leaf‑to‑server links and aggregation upgrades without separate optics and patch cords.

The lightweight optical cable eases routing and avoids EMI coupling compared with copper DACs. Hot‑plug connectors with pull‑tabs simplify service in high‑density chassis. Electrical and management interfaces follow SFF‑8436 (QSFP+) and SFF‑8431 (SFP+); typical operation is from a 3.3 V supply with total power under 2.5 W. Farsince supports project customization including length options, leg labeling/ID and bundle kitting to match data‑center rollouts.
