Farsince 40G QSFP+ SR4 is a hot‑pluggable multimode optical transceiver for 40GBASE‑SR4 links in data centers and campus networks. The module integrates four 10.3G lanes at 850 nm using a VCSEL/PIN optical engine and terminates to an MPO/MTP‑12 male interface; eight fibers are used for data and four are idle. Typical applications include top‑of‑rack aggregation, leaf‑spine fabrics, server and storage interconnects, and short DCI within a building.
Built for density and interoperability, the transceiver complies with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE‑SR4. It can operate as 4×10G‑SR when used with an MPO‑to‑LC harness, enabling flexible migration between 10G and 40G ports. The module installs by hot swap and works with standard Type‑B MPO polarity cabling. Farsince supports vendor‑specific coding, project labeling and acceptance reports, with stable supply for rollouts and spares management.
