    Description

    Farsince 40G QSFP+ LR4 is a hot‑pluggable optical transceiver that carries 40‑Gigabit Ethernet over G.652 single‑mode fiber up to 10 km. Inside the module, four 10G electrical lanes are converted to CWDM optical channels at 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm, multiplexed onto a duplex LC/UPC interface. It installs in QSFP+ ports on switches, routers and transport platforms and is well suited for leaf‑spine fabrics, enterprise or campus uplinks, and metro access where 10 km reach and LC patching are required.


    A DFB‑CWDM transmitter with PIN receiver provides stable performance within a ≤3.3 W power envelope. Digital diagnostics per SFF‑8436 offer real‑time monitoring of temperature, voltage and optical power to support operations and maintenance. The module is interoperable with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE‑LR4 and can map to OTN OTU3 when supported by the host. Hot‑swap installation and the compact QSFP+ form factor simplify field work. Farsince provides vendor coding for major switch platforms, project labeling, acceptance testing, and reliable volume supply.
