Farsince 400GBASE‑DR4 is a QSFP112 hot‑pluggable optical transceiver designed for 400‑Gigabit Ethernet over single‑mode fiber. The module converts four 106.25G PAM4 electrical lanes from the QSFP112 host to four optical lanes at 1310 nm, using an MPO‑12/APC female receptacle (8 active fibers: 4Tx/4Rx). It supports point‑to‑point reaches up to 500 m on G.652D SMF and is suited for spine‑leaf fabrics, AI clusters, and migration paths from 100G to 400G. With an MTP‑to‑4×LC duplex harness, it can break out to four independent 100G‑DR links.
A DSP‑retimed EML/PIN optical engine with CMIS management provides stable operation and full digital diagnostics. The compact QSFP112 form factor enables high‑density panels, while hot‑swap serviceability simplifies maintenance. The optics interoperate to IEEE 400GBASE‑DR4 and require host KP4 FEC. Farsince supports multi‑vendor coding, custom labeling and test reports, and can supply matched MTP trunks and breakout harnesses for rapid, consistent deployment.
