Farsince 400G QSFP‑DD AOC integrates two QSFP‑DD optical ends with a fixed multimode fiber assembly, creating a direct 400‑Gb/s connection between switches, servers or storage. The link operates eight 50G PAM4 lanes at 850 nm with VCSEL/PIN optics and electrical interface compatible with 400GAUI‑8. It is suited for short‑reach data‑center interconnects such as leaf–spine, TOR uplinks, and AI/HPC cluster fabrics where consistent performance and simple deployment are required.

The lightweight optical cable reduces bundle size and avoids EMI issues common to copper, while pull‑tab latches and hot‑swap mechanics simplify installation in high‑density racks. Power draw is below 10 W from a 3.3 V supply, and device monitoring follows CMIS 4.0 over I2C for host diagnostics. Standard lengths span 1 to 50 meters to cover most intra‑rack and row applications. Farsince supports project‑specific lengths, labeling and serialization to streamline rollout and field maintenance.
