Farsince 400G QSFP‑DD to 2×QSFP56 AOC is a factory‑terminated multimode fiber harness that breaks out a single QSFP‑DD interface on the host side to two independent QSFP56 optical ends on the device side. The assembly carries eight 50G PAM4 lanes at 850 nm on the QSFP‑DD side and maps them into two groups of 4×50G for dual 200G SR4 links. It plugs directly into QSFP‑DD cages on switches or accelerator servers and connects to QSFP56 ports on TOR switches, NICs or storage, enabling efficient 400G‑to‑200G fan‑out in leaf‑spine, AI/HPC and large‑scale data center fabrics.
The lightweight optical design reduces cable bulk and eliminates EMI concerns common to copper breakouts, while pull‑tab latches and hot‑swap mechanics support fast service in dense racks. Power draw is under 10 W from a 3.3 V supply, with monitoring via CMIS 4.0 over I2C. Standard lengths from 1 to 50 meters support short‑reach deployments. Farsince offers customization for overall and leg lengths, labeling/serialization and project kitting to streamline rollouts and maintenance.
