Farsince 400G QSFP‑DD LR4 is a hot‑pluggable optical transceiver for long‑reach 400‑Gigabit Ethernet on single‑mode fiber. Inside the QSFP‑DD host, eight 53.125G electrical lanes are mapped to four optical lanes at 106.25G PAM4 using CWDM wavelengths (1271/1291/1311/1331 nm). The module exposes a duplex LC/UPC receptacle and delivers point‑to‑point reach up to 10 km on G.652 SMF. It suits high‑capacity spine‑leaf fabrics, core aggregation, campus backbone links and metro‑edge or data‑center interconnects where LC patching is preferred.
The design uses EML transmitters with PIN receivers for stable performance when operated with host KP4 FEC. CMIS management provides full digital diagnostics for proactive monitoring, while the compact QSFP‑DD form factor enables high‑density panels and hot‑swap serviceability. Interoperability with IEEE 802.3bs and the 100G Lambda MSA LR4‑10 specification simplifies integration across mainstream switching and routing platforms. Farsince supports vendor‑specific coding, project labeling, acceptance testing and coordinated supply, and can provide matched LC cabling to streamline deployment and lifecycle spares.
