    Description

    Farsince 400G QSFP‑DD FR4 is a hot‑pluggable optical transceiver for long‑reach 400‑Gigabit Ethernet on single‑mode fiber. The module maps eight 53.125G electrical lanes from the QSFP‑DD host to four optical lanes of 106.25G PAM4 using CWDM wavelengths at 1271/1291/1311/1331 nm. It presents a duplex LC/UPC interface and supports point‑to‑point reaches up to 2 km on G.652 SMF. Typical applications include data‑center spine/leaf interconnects, aggregation to core routers, campus distribution and short‑haul DCI where 400G over LC is preferred.


    An EML transmitter with PIN receiver delivers stable operation when used with KP4 FEC on the host. CMIS management provides digital diagnostics for real‑time monitoring, while the QSFP‑DD form factor enables high‑density panels and hot‑swap serviceability. The module is interoperable with IEEE 802.3bs and 100G Lambda MSA FR4‑2km specifications for straightforward deployment across major platforms. Farsince offers vendor‑specific coding, project labeling, acceptance testing and matched LC patching options to support rollout and spares planning.
