Farsince 400G QSFP‑DD Active Electrical Cable is a shielded twinax assembly with active signal conditioning at both ends. Each connector presents a hot‑pluggable QSFP‑DD interface carrying the 400GAUI‑8 electrical map based on eight 50G PAM4 lanes. Designed for short‑range 400G Ethernet inside data halls, it is commonly used for top‑of‑rack to aggregation switch hops, switch‑to‑server adapters, and adjacent‑rack patches where deterministic latency and robust electrical margins are required.

The retimed AEC design extends copper reach compared with passive DACs and stabilizes links over 5 m with low insertion loss and crosstalk. A durable PET braided jacket and controlled‑impedance 28 AWG pairs support a 53 mm minimum bend radius for tidy routing in dense cabinets. The assembly supports CMIS‑based monitoring, is interoperable with QSFP‑DD MSA mechanics and IEEE 802.3cd electrical specifications, and installs quickly with pull‑tab latches.
