Farsince 200G QSFP56 Active Copper Cable is a shielded twinax assembly with integrated signal conditioning that carries the 200GAUI‑4 electrical interface over four 50G PAM4 lanes. Both ends present hot‑pluggable QSFP56 connectors for direct connections between 200G Ethernet or InfiniBand HDR ports such as TOR switches, server NICs and storage adapters. It is intended for short‑reach wiring inside a rack or between adjacent racks where deterministic latency and simple deployment are priorities.
Compared with passive DACs, the active design maintains eye‑opening and crosstalk margins while keeping power draw low. A 28 AWG construction and robust PVC (OFNR) jacket support a 40 mm minimum bend radius for clean routing in dense cabinets. Pull‑tab latches simplify insertion and removal, and the assembly is interoperable with QSFP56 MSA mechanics and IEEE 802.3cd electrical specifications. Farsince offers platform coding (including NVIDIA/Mellanox options), customized lengths, labeling and batch test reports to support scaled rollout.
