The SFP+ host interface presents a standard 10GbE SERDES, while the module integrates a 10GBASE‑T PHY and an 8‑position RJ45 jack for CAT6a/CAT7 cabling. It supports 10G links up to 30 meters and is suited for top‑of‑rack switching to copper servers/NICs, access switches with RJ45 uplinks, or leveraging existing copper plant in campus and enterprise networks.

Auto‑negotiation enables fallback to 5G/2.5G/1G for mixed environments. The compact SFP+ form factor allows high‑density panels and simple plug‑and‑play installation with hot‑swap serviceability.
