    Description

    Farsince 10GBASE‑SR SFP+ is a hot‑pluggable optical transceiver for 10‑Gigabit Ethernet over duplex multimode fiber. Housed in an SFP+ MSA form factor, it integrates an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter and PIN receiver, presenting an LC/UPC interface with real‑time digital diagnostics. The module supports 10.3 Gb/s line rate and is intended for short‑reach connections up to 300 m, such as switch‑to‑server links, top‑of‑rack aggregation, campus cross‑connects, and CPRI/eCPRI front‑haul where low power and stable optics are preferred.


    The compact optical design reduces cable bulk and eliminates EMI concerns versus copper DACs, helping airflow in dense racks. Standards‑based management via SFF‑8472 enables monitoring of temperature, optical power and voltage for easier operations. Interoperability follows IEEE 802.3ae and SFP+/SFF specifications for broad switch and NIC compatibility. Farsince offers platform coding for major OEMs, project labeling and test reporting, plus matched patch cords and cleaning kits to streamline deployment and maintenance.
