Description

Farsince 100G QSFP28 SR4 is a hot‑pluggable optical transceiver for short‑reach 100‑Gigabit Ethernet. The module integrates four 25G electrical lanes and converts them to four parallel optical lanes at 850 nm, presented on an MPO‑12/MTP receptacle. It fits QSFP28 switch, router and server NIC ports and is used for leaf‑spine links, TOR aggregation, and 100G breakout to 4×25G when paired with MPO‑LC harnesses. Typical reach is up to 70 m on OM3 and 100 m on OM4 multimode cabling.

A VCSEL/PIN optical engine provides stable performance with low power draw, and digital diagnostics per SFF‑8636 give real‑time monitoring of temperature, voltage and optical power. The compact form factor supports high‑density panels and straightforward polarity‑managed cabling with standard MPO patch cords. Farsince offers platform coding for major OEM switches, labeling, and project‑level testing to support consistent deployment and maintenance.
