Farsince 100G QSFP28 PSM4 is a hot‑pluggable optical transceiver for 100‑Gigabit Ethernet over single‑mode fiber using a parallel MPO‑12 interface. The module maps four 25G NRZ electrical lanes from the QSFP28 host to four optical transmit and four receive lanes at 1310 nm, operating over eight fibers through an MPO‑12/APC female receptacle. It supports point‑to‑point reaches up to 500 m on G.652 SMF and is suited for data‑center spine/leaf fabrics, TOR aggregation and short‑reach campus backbones where high‑density MTP/MPO cabling is deployed.
A DFB laser/PIN receiver design provides stable performance, while SFF‑8636 management with DOM enables real‑time diagnostics. Standard QSFP28 mechanicals allow high‑density panels and hot‑swap serviceability. The module interoperates with 100G PSM4 MSA optics and works with Type‑B MPO trunks; 1×100G to 4×25G breakouts are supported with appropriate MTP‑to‑LC harnesses within the optical budget. Farsince offers multi‑vendor coding, project labeling, acceptance testing, and matched MTP trunks to simplify rollout and spares management.
