Farsince mini SAS cabes interconnects cover the full internal/external storage and compute family: Mini SAS (SFF-8087/8088), Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643/8644), next-gen SlimSAS (SFF-8654), OCuLink (SFF-8611/8612) and MCIO (SFF-TA-1002), with design practice aligned to SFF/PCI-SIG guidance. These harnesses connect HBAs, backplanes, NVMe drives and accelerator modules where signal integrity and space are at a premium.
We engineer tight skew control, impedance discipline, shield topology and drain continuity to support SAS-4 (24G) and PCIe Gen4/Gen5 over internal runs, with low-profile, overmolded, or latching heads for service access. For compact servers, ultra-thin and flat constructions unlock tighter bends, better airflow and cleaner cable-to-heat-sink clearances versus traditional round cables.
Configurations include x4/x8/x16 breakouts, vertical or right-angle orientations, and custom board-end footprints. Each lot is validated for IL/RL, NEXT/FEXT and mechanical retention. With scalable build at China/Vietnam, Farsince lets platform teams rationalize a mixed estate—legacy Mini SAS HD, transitional SlimSAS/OCuLink, and emerging MCIO—while preparing the path to denser 1.6T chassis backplanes.
